Every step, documented
- Arrival and check-in. Your parcel is signed for and opened, with the contents logged against the description you gave us when you requested your label. Nothing is processed anonymously.
- Secure storage. Items are held securely and remain identifiable as yours throughout. They are not pooled with other sellers' items before assessment.
- Assessment. Each item is weighed on calibrated scales and tested by XRF spectrometry. We record the results and prepare your written breakdown.
- Your offer. We send your offer in writing, the purity, the weight, the rate and the figure. No pressure, no time-limited tactics.
- If you accept. Payment is sent by Faster Payments directly to your bank account, usually the same working day.
- If you decline. Everything is returned to you free of charge by tracked, insured Royal Mail post. No fees, no questions.
Identity and ownership
As a precious-metals buyer we carry out proportionate identity and ownership checks, in line with UK anti-money-laundering practice. This protects honest sellers: it means stolen goods are far harder to move, and it means your transaction is properly recorded. We will tell you upfront if we need anything from you.
Your data
We only collect what we need to complete your sale and meet our legal obligations. Your contact details, your bank details to pay you, and the transaction record. We explain exactly how this is handled, and how long it is kept, in our privacy policy.
