What cookies we use

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This site keeps cookie use to a minimum:

• Essential storage, a single browser local-storage entry that remembers your cookie choice so you are not asked again. It is not a cookie, and this site sets no essential cookies of its own.
• Analytics cookies, Google Analytics (G-LHFQ58784Q), used only in an anonymised form to understand how the site is used. These load only if you accept them; analytics are denied by default under Google Consent Mode v2 until you choose to accept.
• Advertising measurement cookies, Google Ads conversion measurement, used to tell whether someone who clicked one of our adverts went on to request a label. These load only if you accept them and are denied by default. They are used to measure our own advertising, not to build a profile of you, and we do not run advertising on this site.
• Meta advertising cookies, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, used to measure whether someone who saw or clicked a GoldPaid advert on Facebook or Instagram went on to message us or request a label. These load only if you accept them and are denied by default. Unlike the others, this one shares data with Meta: it tells Meta that this browser visited GoldPaid and which page it viewed, and Meta may match that to a Facebook or Instagram account and use it to build advertising audiences.
• Trustpilot review widget, loaded only on the confirmation page shown after you request a label, and only if you accept. Our reviews are collected and hosted by Trustpilot rather than by us, so the widget is served from Trustpilot and loading it tells Trustpilot that a browser opened that page. It sets no GoldPaid cookie; anything Trustpilot sets is Trustpilot’s own and is covered by Trustpilot’s cookie policy. Decline, and the page shows a plain link to our Trustpilot profile instead. The Trustpilot links on other pages load nothing until you click them.
• Performance telemetry (cookie-free), Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights record aggregate page views and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) without setting cookies, without tracking you across sites and without storing personal data. They help GoldPaid keep the site fast, and since 2 September 2026 they load only if you accept, exactly like everything else on this page. Decline, and they never load.

GoldPaid does not display advertising on this site and does not sell your data. It does advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and if you accept cookies the Meta Pixel reports your visit back to Meta so those adverts can be measured. That is cross-site advertising technology and this policy will not pretend otherwise. Reject, and it never loads. The Google Ads cookies are narrower: they only record that a click on one of our adverts led to a label request.

Every cookie, by name

The full list, so you can check it against what is actually on your device. Open your browser’s developer tools, look under Application or Storage, and compare. If you find something here that is not on this list, tell us and we will explain it or remove it.

• gp_consent_v1, not a cookie at all, but browser local storage. Records whether you accepted or declined, and when. Essential. Kept until you clear it or change your choice.
• gp_attr, browser session storage, not a cookie. Records which page you arrived on and, if you came here from one of our adverts, that advert’s click identifier, so we can tell which page or advert led to a label request. It is cleared when you close the tab, and it is never used to build a profile of you.
• _ga, Google Analytics. Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not counted as new people. Set only if you accept. Google sets it to last two years, but current browsers cap a cookie written this way at 400 days, so 400 days is what you will see on your device.
• _ga_LHFQ58784Q, Google Analytics 4 session state for this property. Set only if you accept. Two years nominally, capped at 400 days by current browsers, as above.
• _gcl_au, Google Ads conversion measurement. Records that a click on one of our adverts led to a label request. Set only if you accept, and only while we are running adverts. Expires after 90 days.
• _fbp, Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Identifies this browser to Meta so a visit can be joined to a Facebook or Instagram advert. Set only if you accept. Expires after 90 days.
• _fbc, Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Stores the click identifier from a Facebook or Instagram advert, so Meta can tell that advert brought you here. Set only if you accept, and only if you arrived from one of those adverts. Expires after 90 days.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights set no cookies at all, and nothing on this site reads a cookie set by another website: every cookie above is first-party. The honest exception to “no profiling” is Meta. The Google and Vercel measurement is aggregate and is not used to profile you, but if you accept cookies the Meta Pixel sends your visit to Meta, who may use it for advertising audiences under their own terms. If that is not something you want, choose Reject all and none of it runs.

Your control, and how to change your mind

Analytics and advertising measurement are governed by a consent setting that defaults to denied. Nothing runs until you accept: no Google, Meta, Trustpilot or Vercel measurement script is fetched, no data reaches any of them, and no cookie is set. The page opens no early network connection to any of them either. Decline, and none of that code loads at any point. The Google and Meta half of that is tested on every release: a script drives a real browser through the site with consent denied and fails the build if a single request reaches either company.

To change your decision later, use the Cookie settings button at the very bottom of any page on this site. It reopens the same two choices. Choosing "Reject all" also deletes the Google and Meta cookies already on your device, rather than only switching measurement off. Anything already sent before you withdrew has been sent, and saying otherwise would be a false claim.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. This site sets no essential cookies of its own, and blocking analytics cookies will not stop you using the site or requesting a label.

This is the version of this cookie policy dated 10 September 2026. The names and lifetimes above were checked against a real browser session on 2 September 2026 and the consent behaviour was re-measured on 9 September 2026.
