The label we send you
When you request a label by WhatsApp, phone or the contact form, we send you a Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed label. It is prepaid. There is no cost to you, and no pack to wait for. Print it at home, or ask us for a QR code you can show at the Post Office counter if you do not have a printer.
You can use any packaging you already have: a padded envelope or a small box is fine. Wrap items so they cannot move or be felt through the packaging, seal it well, and hand it in at any Post Office.
What "covered up to £2,500" means
Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed is a fully tracked, signed-for service. The label we provide is arranged with compensation cover of up to £2,500 per parcel. That cover applies the whole way, from the moment it is scanned in at the Post Office counter, to the moment it is signed for at our premises.
Sending items worth more than £2,500
If you believe your items are worth more than £2,500, message us before you post. We will either arrange additional cover or advise you to split the items across more than one parcel so every parcel stays within its cover limit. Please do not send a single parcel worth more than the cover arranged for it.
If a parcel is delayed or lost
Special Delivery is a guaranteed service and lost parcels are very rare, but if a parcel does not arrive when expected, contact us straight away. We track it from our side, and if Royal Mail cannot locate it we help you through the Royal Mail compensation claim using your proof of postage and the item details you sent us. You are never left to deal with it alone.
Common questions
Is my parcel insured the whole way?
Yes. Cover applies from the moment the parcel is scanned in at the Post Office counter until it is signed for at our premises.
What if I don't have a printer?
Tell us when you request your label and we will send a QR code you can show at the Post Office counter. They print the label for you.
Can I use my own packaging?
Yes. Any padded envelope or small box is fine. Wrap items so they cannot move or be felt through the packaging, and seal it securely.
Why does the proof of postage matter?
It is your evidence that the parcel entered the Royal Mail network. Keep it safe until your sale is complete. It is required for any compensation claim.
