Identity, ownership and your data
As a precious-metals buyer, GoldPaid carries out identity and ownership checks on every transaction in line with UK anti-money-laundering practice, and photo ID is required from every seller, which protects honest sellers. We collect only the personal information we need, and handle it as set out in the privacy policy. Those checks are our own practice rather than a regime we are supervised under: GoldPaid pays by bank transfer only and handles no cash, so it sits outside HMRC high value dealer scope.
